We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible local news! Our journey continues to gain momentum, and this week, we got to see our team and our product, Licence to Win, featured on the front page of the Eastern Times!
To see our Young Enterprise journey recognized right here in our own community is a feeling of genuine honor. It felt particularly special to be featured by the Times, the paper that connects so many of the families, friends, and businesses who have supported us from the very start.
The article did an amazing job of showcasing the 'why' behind our business. We launched Licence to Win to tackle a real problem: making the process of studying the New Zealand Road Code less boring and more effective for young people.
The statistics can be eye-opening, and the article highlighted our goal: to help our fellow teenagers gain confidence and independence by making it easier (and more fun) to prepare for their learner licence theory test. From discovering that thousands of Kiwis fail their theory test each year to turning the Road Code into an engaging card game, the Times captured the heart of our mission perfectly.
We couldn't be prouder of how far we've come. The article noted our success so far, which is entirely down to the support of people in our region who have believed in our idea and purchased our game. Your support has allowed us to sell around $8000 worth of product, a milestone we owe to our community!
The chance to talk about our vision for safe, confident young drivers on a local platform like the Eastern Times is a powerful reminder that the best ideas often start right in your own backyard.
A massive thank you goes out to the Eastern Times for sharing our story. And to our community: thank you for being the driving force behind this adventure.
